Beware the Ides of March

Today is generally known as the Ides of March. History tells us that Caesar was assassinated on this day. So the middle of a month can generally be described as the "ides" of month. Every year there is a toga run through the streets of Rome in the same place where the Senators stabbed Julius to death.
So I am going to call my friend Mika. I have not talked to him in over a year. His birthday is today. When we were roommates in Crested Butte we would always have a huge party to celebrate. This being because we both were born on the same day.
