why only artificial?

So I want to put a xmas tree this weekend. Somehow it doesn't quite feel like xmas. I want some snow. It has been raining and somewhat warm. Where are the ice storms? So they make a xmas tree stand that rotates 360 degrees so you can see all of your ornaments when you are sitting on the couch getting all snockerd on eggnog and bourbon. They dont make one for fresh cut trees, so I might have to fab one.
