The Second Annual Terri 'CampKookOut'

So we loaded up Astrid and headed for the Washington Coast. The destination, Ocean Shores Campground. Pretty nice area. Ocean Shores is the only real coastal town in Washington I'm told. Town is only about a mile south of the campground. So we loaded up on Saturday and went into town to the beach access. It is really cool to be able to drive onto the beach and drive north up the coast and park and jump into the water. The waves are a little more forgiving here than south of town about six miles away. Up north of town where we started, is where we spent most of saturday playing in the water, the waves were pretty forgiving. Down south six miles is where you will find the jetty. The waves are about seven feet tall and break right at the beach. We got tossed like a pre-made bag of salad at a family reunion. I was picked up by a wave and flipped backwards twice, and the wave also decided to take the board away from me and give me a bloody nose a fat lip. Respect your mother.
Word.
